I help church leaders equip Christians to answer questions about their faith by delivering solid teaching in an entertaining and memorable format.

Are you looking for something fun, educational, and maybe just a little bit different to add to your programs for youth, children, and even the adults in your congregation and community? If so, then I hope you will take the time to read this letter.

My name is Joe M. Turner. I've spent most of my life studying three things:

• How to entertain people, especially through the use of illusion and sleight-of-hand,
• How to educate people, helping them internalize important messages,
• How to encourage people to come to know Jesus Christ and understand what He did for us.

I have presented Gospel magic programs at churches all over America, Canada, and most recently in Latvia. Sometimes these programs are educational presentations on cult awareness geared to middle-school and/or senior-high youth. These young people -- who are most at risk from confusing messages and competing worldviews -- can benefit greatly from early training in basic apologetics. Sometimes my programs take the form of entertainment at luncheons, banquets or other social functions for adults. Sometimes I present magic programs at children's fairs, picnics, or kickoff events for Awanas, R.A.s, G.A.s or children's choirs. I specialize in customizing my programs to fit the themes and messages you are trying hardest to deliver.

One thing that all of these types of programs share is this: every single time I perform you are guaranteed to experience the thrill of the art of illusion and, more importantly, to learn something about Jesus Christ in the process.

I have been a Christian since the age of 8. I served as the youngest-ever Chairman of Deacons at First Baptist Church of Tucker. However, I have presented my doctrinally solid programs at churches that span the denominational spectrum. My goal is to promote an ongoing love for learning throughout life -- both intellectually and spiritually. I majored in Physics and Chemistry Education, completed significant additional coursework in music and theatre, and have spent seven years in the fields of corporate training and change management. Helping people to enjoy learning has been my life.

I know that planning and managing ministry programs for young people is an awesome and extremely challenging responsibility. I consider it a privilege to be led by God in providing assistance to you both as a professional entertainer and as a lay minister with the gifts of teaching and leadership.
